...THE FUTURE ALWAYS, SO THEY SAY looks brighter from the bottom of a Glass? -I beg to disagree! My own, personal REGRETS, ever needy would always desire ORDERING yet another (Dwinkies), make it a DOUBLE, U understand, to keep the Cold out? Even the Village Idiot, the Town Drunk is not bereft of some modicum of Logic? (Without VODKA, half of RUSSIA - no central heating - would be dead!?)
...Which is not easy to grasp for the "WOKE", Fascist NON-SMOKING-MADDING CROWD, AN(SY)NOMINOUS-ALCOHOLICS with their prescribed 13 STEPS, to swarth IN, their sense of aversion to re-affirm Societal "white bread's" great plan whilst some of we MISFITS Wheat or RYE, especially with our morning coffee look upon a new day, festive-a-la-mode!?
...Believe it or not...I have NOT exactly wandered like a Cloud nor ever second-guessed, stumbled, stuttered, tripped the Light Fandango to escape the commonplace cultural mire. But NOR can I accept/digest/drink the world's insipid SLUICE! Organized Religion/ Politicians/Tyrants will always see us as a threat? (We consider paying TAXES as optional!)
But: Acknowledged! Yes. The WORLD has to be a "give & take" survival. A RUGBY TRY to Love thy Neighbor, a respectful parity; if only EVERYONE, altruism- in - Spades! -would agree, adrift in Universal ORBITAL space devoid of GREED!
Yet like a Voyager a-sea: Water, water everywhere but not a drop to drink? So thus, inevitably/predictably (?) surviving life's slings/arrows/prejudice, we find ourselves marooned (sadly LOL) upon an Island in the (Gulf?) stream; NOT the windward Isles but coming to rest upon the Lee-Shore, far from a Winter, WAR Cruise (?) Missiles or Classroom PEA SHOOTERS; so much U try to forget but rarely forgive...
... unlike so many, without, but for SOME (we happy few?) the Village Idiot, the Town drunk who somehow made it through? -now WITHIN... to bask upon the Lee-Shore of our fragile dreams.
