Our Man in Europe/Belize, Dave Delacroix: "Canzone!" (Song)
HE WAS a drunken old man, a Man with a song, a catastrophe, a whisky galore. He was a drunken old man who saved your Folklore, a herald of yesterday's past. He was a drunken old bloke, the village-joke, a Gal. HIS Lady-a Witch burnt at the stake. But a drunken old man without any plan, what threat to U? And U stoned him to death, or he died, lonesome in a ditch; strangely, all the young kids, his friends miss his muse. His story gone for evermore. He was a drunken old man, a black & a tan under God's heavens roar.
