Sonnet.OUR MAN in WHOOSITS: Dave Delacroix: "Where the Eagle flies!"

Our Man in Europe in Europe/Belize, Dave Delacroix: "Where the Eagle flies."

(dedicato: Sergio outta St. Petersburg/Russia, R.I.P.)

...Your shell-like EAR that sanctuary FEAR, all-mortals a-keep, better from where-grounded? An apartment City block, a village garden patch, a Townie side street, an URBAN reckless main Street, once upon a voyage upon the sea? A secret in the night, a scare, a childhood fright, a Song that haunts from yesterday, a Whisky in a Jar, an echo from afar, beneath your thoughts, driving U ON? Ever thought of Pawning that BANJO? Nope! Me neither. WOTCHAGOONA-DO? Alas or GLORY: Where the Eagle flies. No need for a Mountain. The indivisible to envelop our fragility.... once upon a voyage upon the seven seas, a BODY, survivor, still-alive, breathing on a sandy foreign shore, a sea-shell echo, wisdom, utter silence yet more and a shell--like FEAR, uncannily, where the eagle flies, yet all FEAR is gone, INTRINSIC, Alex Pushkin, Life's inner-majestic expunged; hoping U can lend me $20 bucks, a night on your couch, some Vodka and the best of luck?...

c.2025. Dave Delacroix.
