Our Man in Europe, Dave Delacroix, "A Brief History of the :"Selfie"

Our Man in Europe, Dave Delacroix (White-Guy): "A brief History of the SELFIE!

Sumeric, (SAMY!)  God know who those Cats were. Clay tablets talking bout TAXES, couldn't last long. A kind of Selfie-identification which all town clerks exude today.  Then, Egyptians always in boring profile (makes ya wonder how they ever got a date/sideways?) The Greeks (Hellenistic) had a good time, maybe 5,000 years indoctrinated by Priest-Zealots? Big on Profile though. Everyone looked like Elizabeth Taylor. And BLOODY ROMANS, ruthless bunch, grabbed the Greek-Selfie, made it their own. A GRAFFITTI of what it was once s-posed to be, Statutes, a pastel, rockstar posters, Mythical GODZ painted, POMPEI on your bedroom wall? THEN along comes Viking CARVINGS. A lot of whoopsies, limited on portraits, King BLUE-TOOTH, a dental tragedy ensues and the Renaissance where/ when "Selfies" really took OFF! The Plague took its toll but the rich managed to get themselves in PAINT, the "Selfie" that hangs in most Palaces & Halls? The VATICAN!!! Now of course any Brain-Dead Idiot/WE R five Billion.... can Boogie-woogie "Selfie" when leaning too far back out/by Bir Sur-California and - SNAP!-SNAP! - fall down a cliff?...

Makes ya WONDER: Mirror-Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all? The "Selfie" your Ego epitaph? Think I'll jump back into the swimming pool. And "YUP!" Too much for U to read....I guess. Be well.
