Our Man in Europe/dave delacroix/lord borgo/ragazzimento No. 47: Carravagio & Blue...

Our Man in Europe/davedelacroix/ragazzi-mental: No 47:  "Caravaggio... & Blue...

1)  VELVET & BLUE

In THIS you'll find your VELVET, those shoes and coat that fits you sooo well., that when you walk, reflects your grace and gives good humor to friends abroad.

In THIS you'll find your Sapphire, that dazzles the mind of people-un-kind; and dark or shade, don't forget! -it will never fade.

In THIS, no diamonds or gold will compare. I'm on the LAST TRAIN to "Whisky-ville". My joy!? I get to see you there.

In THIS, you'll see your velvet, your blue suede shoes...and all the joy of Youth.;
Don't forget me when, sometimes, I forget you?

2)  CARAVAGGIO

I wanted to change my name...to "SINGLE MALT" (wicked pen!), to CARAVAGGIO. Changing your name is - at best? - frowned upon by HOMELAND SECURITY/a.k.a: new NAZIS and the Coast Guard, despite the fact that the latter ARE in fact - technically - SAILORS.
(Groan)

...I go to government office/in my best Italian/I explain: I am DAVE DELACROIX-LORD BORGO, resident in Piacenza-Italia?
Government girl says: "I've HEARD of you. You OWE me $20!"
after mucho DELIBERATION - MONEY CHANGING HANDS - I am reduced to INSISTING  that thee purpose of my visit - to "said" government office IS infact NOT to pay an outstanding "bar tab" but  to CHANGE MY FRICKIN name to "Caravaggio"; I want to be named after the Renaissance painter (He's my fave-you can keep the three stooges: M-Angelo, Da-da Vinci & Ralph Rapello!)

You may not know it but IN my wardrobe I have an EPEE (a sword-thing you fence with) which I always wear whenever I deal with the Government.
Uncannily, my "name-change" was not treated as a serious request...so I remain DAVE DELACROIX, LORD BORGO.

Caravaggio? My patron Artist Saint, turning -  as we speak - in his grave,  will, perhaps,  forgive me in eternity...?

c 2013/davedelacroix/lord borgo/piacenza-Italia: HAPPPEEEEEE!...:)
