Sampans, CLIPPERS, Galleons, we drank & drank, small table manners, WE forlorn SONS, a Sailors life, a "Castrones-Jinx", a crew-beware, a ship-of-WAR with 16 guns, a respected Captain, scared & bruised who would protect U from the SPIGGOT or the hanging tree?

We DRINK & Drink for evermore. The cats & Dogs-aboard do whine & ROAR within our camouflage, the Ship's "doctor" with his SAW & AXE just sometimes MIGHT save a limb or 2, or a BIBLE-handy, to save our Souls?

WE DRINK & drink, a "Privateer", cutlass & pistol, we cost 'EM dear, the PRIZE? It was all. A ZEAL without fear? A surrender or die? (Just give us the god dam money!?)

We drank our OCEAN circumnavigation/a lifetime, from the Indies to Portsmouth Sound; the Life we gave is History. Now LORE! In the end, many died, many drowned for their dreams, and a pitiful FEW came finally ashore. Port harbors, Plymouth, Honfleur, Singapore-etc., echoes resonate in portside taverns? Welsh, Scottish, Mandarin?

We drank & drank. Sailed the Seven Seas. As WE- Full circle, THE GLOBE! As for the Parson with his Clergy. The Clerk with his feathered-Pen. The "WHIGGIE" in Parliament" spouting his OATH, the Wanna-Be-Poet in his Designer Garret/Japanese Prints on exposed brick walls, the Philosopher in the Palazzo or University-Halls? 

We drank & drank. And WE sailed the SEVEN SEAS.
