Our Man in Europe-david delacroix - "The Sweet, Sweet Grass..."
SHE gets hot. She gets cold,
in the sweet, sweet grass.
She comes alive, she goes to die;
in the sweet, sweet grass.
She doesn't "whether"? No hesitation?
She doesn't forgive or give thanks?
She IS UN-figured, invisible
in the sweet, sweet grass.
She doesn't hear U, she doesn't bathe,
she'll never call U, and YOU? - No hope!
-she cant Save, just when U need her,
fair or foul: In the sweet, sweet grass.
Her Poem,, like a Song: "Sweet Grass"
in a breeze, and later, ON YOUR KNEES;
U cannot remember...how it begins?
She gets hot! She goes cold!
-in the sweet, sweet grass.
Where we lay. Where we lay,
where we lay.
