3 years younger than I, the poor bastard is balding which is not a Cardinal sin, just one of Natures crimes for, athletic, debonair, he could only look at my ENGLISH SHEEPDOF accoutriments...and sigh?

We started conversation, traditionally; old pals: Subj: Who'd died, etc. Old girlfriends? Who'd married WHICH sonofabitch, different gender, same results: Might as well be?

Eventually; because I always SENSED something Biblical aboout Gary-Baldi-Smith...I cut to the quick and affirmed I was  2 years into-having "a blast" in ITALY, presumably, like him?

...He did not concur, and, in addition to correcting my by-now irreversible-un-grammatical ENGLISH-English propounded the following:

On WEST 54th St. and 9th. Ave., I arrived in 1976 by TAXI-DE-NIRO from JFK wearing a white (FLOCK-NOT from Barney's) 2 piece suit. The locals looked dangerous but took me under their ghetto wing: DEM who aren't busy Borning!?... 99 cents: 2 eggs, 2 strips of Canadian bacon/ketchup/hash browns/a Bermuda triangle of toast.

Now? -With RENT owing, the ELECTRIC BILL - out of sight! -  and the GAS (better U eat beans! ) cut off and NO smiles from the DELI, over 2nd and 58th. st.: Absolutely NO credit from D'AGOSTINOS (market)? So don't bother falling in love with the Man with such a great view of the Mulholland traffic tunnel!

Still? Despite the HEAD LICE, SCABIES, LEPROSY, etc.,; when I'm alone? -I go to the MET, the GUGGENHEIM, I fearlessly walk in Central Park, usually, Saturdays? Guzzle beer at McSORLEYS down in "THE  VILLE", and EARLY, before the hacks and Wannabees show. Maybe I'll kick in a Blog? Tell the Government about my 1976 plight? Jeeze! There's a Government cure for EVERYTHING. (Ask any bureaucrat!)
